Accommodation Service

Studying at Cambridge

University accommodation

It is necessary to be a member of the University or an affiliated organisation in order to apply for University owned accommodation. If eligible, you will have the opportunity to join the waiting list once your initial registration with our service has been approved.

The University owns many self-contained flats and a small number of houses, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms. They are almost all situated within the city of Cambridge, within easy access of the city centre and the University departments and faculties. Because they are owned by the University, they are maintained to a high standard, and are reserved for University members.

Properties are for long lets only, a minimum of an academic year and a maximum of three years. Priority is given to those who are new to Cambridge.

Prices start from around £850 per month excluding all bills. The flats and houses are a mixture of furnished and unfurnished, and include white goods such as refrigerators and cookers but not small appliances such as kettles, toasters and microwaves.
