Description
Welcome to Darwin’s Townhouse, once home to Charles Darwin’s son, Sir Horace Darwin, former mayor of Cambridge.
This special house is configured over 5 floors, offering period features, such as high ceilings and original fireplaces, with the design, convenience and comfort of a modern British home.
Located in the city centre, Darwin’s Townhouse is a stone’s throw from the Botanic Gardens, a short walk to the train station, the city centre and all of Cambridge's delights. There are several excellent private schools within walking distance too.
The house is available to rent as an entire home (we do not rent out rooms to individuals). We have welcomed many visiting professors and their families.
You can find more photos and floor plans, and details of our other places, on our website: www.cambridgeshortstays.co.uk
Prices start from £6,750.00 per calendar month, inclusive of all household bills, bed linen and towels, Netflix and wifi, and cleaning.
Me and my team are on hand if you need help navigating Cambridge or need any assistance with the house, but we also are happy to give you space to enjoy your stay.
We look forward to hosting you.
