Description
We have two en-suite rooms available to rent. Very centrally located. Only 8 minutes walk from the train/bus stations and 15 minute walk from the historical town centre and university colleges. There are a wide range of excellent restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores within only a few minutes walk.
FRONT ROOM: A light and spacious private en-suite room with a double bed and mini kitchenette: fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. NB no hob/stovetop.
Our recently refurbished front room is suitable for longer term single occupancy (e.g whole academic terms), or double occupancy for shorter stays.
BACK ROOM: A private en suite room with a single bed, small fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. NB No hob/stovetop.
The back room is also en-suite and fairly similar to the front room but with a single bed for single occupancy only. Minimum stay of a week or longer preferred.
FURTHER DETAILS:
• The en-suite FRONT room has a standard double size bed (140cm x 190cm). The en-suite BACK room bed has a standard UK single size bed (90cm x 190cm).
Cotton padded mattress protector is provided in both rooms, as are extra blankets and hot water bottles if needed.
NB Other than a microwave there are no other cooking facilities in either room. Cutlery, crockery, tea & coffee are provided in both rooms.
• No wardrobe, but there are drawers and hanging space for clothes.
• Free Wi-fi internet access is available for moderate internet use in both rooms.
• The floors are wood laminate with bedside rugs. They can be taken out if visitors request this due to allergies.
• Hairdryer and iron and ironing board are provided for our guests in both rooms.
• En-suite bathroom with shower & WC. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are supplied.
•Both rooms are cleaned weekly. Bed linen and towels are also changed weekly. Towels can be changed more frequently if requested.
• Unfortunately, the rooms do not have suitable access for wheelchair users.
GUEST ACCESS:
• Guests will be given their own key for the front door and their room on arrival and are free to come and go as they please.
• We always ask for an Estimated Time of Arrival (preferably before 21:00) so that we can be sure to be here to welcome you. Later arrival times must be pre negotiated.
• One off street parking space is usually available immediately in front of the house.
• There is no B&B sign outside of the house as we wish to retain the intimate and discrete feeling of a private home.
• Arrangements can be made to leave luggage before and after agreed check in time.
• Personal Laundry can be done weekly on request for a small charge.
ROOM RATES:
FRONT ROOM
3 night minimum stay. Rates are seasonal so do feel free check with us.
Price quoted per night for 1 guest (+ £20 for extra guest) All costs are free of any additional taxes:
£80.00 per night, for stays up to 7 nights
£70.00 per night, for stays of 8–14 nights
£65.00 per night, for stays for 15–28 nights
£420-450 per week, for stays of over a month according to season
BACK ROOM
7 night minimum stay preferred. Rates are seasonal so do feel free check with us. All costs are free of any additional taxes:
£400 - £420 per week. Seasonal longer stay discounts available.
£70 per night for stays under a week (minimum 4 nights)
