Description

In the small village of Prickwillow, just outside Ely, the 'Ellis Miller House' is a rare modernist home in Cambridgeshire for rent.
Designed by Jonathan Ellis Miller and made from glass and steel, it enjoys expansive views across the fens to Ely Cathedral to the West. It was inspired by American Case Study Houses of the 1940s, Charles and Ray Eames and Craig Ellwood and houses by Mies Van Der Rohe and Philip Johnson.
The award winning house has featured in many books and journals, most recently in the Twentieth Century Society's 100 Buildings, 100 Years and was part of an exhibition at the Royal Academy celebrating a century of modern architecture in Britain.
The Ellis Miller house was voted number 9 out of 50 properties in The Times' “Best winter breaks in the UK”
