Cambridge summer 2012 house swap for house on/near north Queensland coast (Whitsunday/ Discovery coast)

We are seeking a house swap for late July/August 2012 in coastal North Queensland. We are travelling to Australia for close to five weeks to visit family but would like to show our two children the Great Barrier Reef. We wouldn't be looking to stay anywhere for more than 10 days but would be happy for our house to be occupied for the entirety of our trip. Ideally the property would have three bedrooms but we are certainly flexible.
We have a cosy two-bedroomed Victorian terraced house in south central Cambridge, off Mill Road. The house is a 10-minute walk from Cambridge station (trains to London Kings Cross every half hour, journey time 49 minutes) and a 25-minute walk into the city centre.
It is ideally located for the University and also for Addenbrooke's Hospital (about a five-minute drive away). Every trip is obviously quicker by bike.
The house, which has a sitting room, dining room and kitchen downstairs, has a small back garden. We have one double room and a smaller bedroom which the children (aged 2 and 4) share upstairs, and a large bathroom. Other details available on request.
Please contact reg@ludions.com/ 07795 398321 for more information.

We have a detached 3 bedroom house in Brisbane. We are looking to exchange it for a 1-2 bedroom flat/house in Cambridge. Ideally from March until the beginning of August 2012, but shorter periods during this time might also be possible. The weather in sub-tropical Brisbane will be excellent at that time of the year: dry, sunny and mild.

House swap - house in Mill Road for place in Paris

I have a property in Cambridge in the Mill road area (post code is CB13NH if you want to have a look on google map). It has a good size living room with wood floor, a nice kitchen, 2 double rooms. Everything is furnished. There is also a courtyard at the back. Very nice place to live in. There is a lot of storage place, and a small locked shed for bikes. I will be visiting scientist in Paris until the end of July 2012, so I am looking for a home swap in Paris For further details, email J B Sallee:  jbsallee@gmail.com

WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND - Mid April to end June 2012
We are coming to Cambridge in 2012 from roughly mid April to the end of June.  We would love to exchange our 3-bedroom home in beautiful Wellington, New Zealand, for a 2bdroom + house in Cambridge.

Our house is very comfortable, furnished and has beautiful views over the valley and sea. It has a large garden, suitable for kids, and is very sunny. It is five minutes from gorgeous swimming beaches and a 10-minute drive to the centre of Wellington. It is also right in the heart of "Wellywood", the film centre of Wellington where Peter Jackson is currently filming The Hobbit.  It would make an ideal base for anyone wanting to visit Wellington, or use it as a base to travel NZ.

We may be able to offer use of our car by negotiation also. My husband and I have two children, aged 8 and 4, and would treat anyone's home with respect and care.

Wellington is the capital of New Zealand and is a vibrant, arts-loving city with a great culture and friendly people. It is the gateway to New Zealand's best scenery and attractions.

Utah, USA  - Cambridge  Two month swap between May and August 2012

We live in a large and comfortable two bedroom, two and a half bathroom house that can easily accommodate 6 people. (Two bedrooms have been turned into studies for my husband and I.)  The house is set in the foothills of the Wasatch mountains, with easy access to hiking and biking trails. In the winter, we're ideally located for skiing resorts north and south of us: Utah has the "best snow on earth," according to the ads. It is excellent skiing. Five hours north of us is Yellowstone National Park, and five hours south is the Grand Canyon.  We're an academic couple in our late 50's who work at Weber State University in Ogden, looking for a two month exchange sometime between May and August 2012 as part of our sabbatical. We would consider earlier dates, from January 2012, but would prefer warmer weather in England.  We would like a one or two bedroom flat or house with easy access to public transport (unless we also exchange cars). We have two friendly cats and we're willing to take care of someone else's cats."
