Welcome to Cambridge! Newcomers and Visiting Scholars help newly arrived scholars and senior University members – along with partners and families – to settle in and have opportunities to meet local people.
It doesn't matter if you're here for a few weeks or a number of years, we'd love to see you.
Tuesday mornings
We hold informal and lively weekly meetings on Tuesday mornings in Full Term, with talks, entertainment and information about Cambridge life, as well as free coffee and biscuits. If you are attached to the University, you and your family are welcome to join us, and equally welcome to stay and enjoy lunch afterwards. Following lunch there is a free walk with our City Guide.
Tuesday mornings became my home from home as I had no college connection. You folks are something special. – Canadian Visiting Scholar
